Tiny Tailors ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use tinytailors.com, why we collect it, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Tiny Tailors is a sole trader business based at Stanley Stables, Church Path, Swanley, Kent BR8 7NY, United Kingdom. We are the controller of your personal data. Contact: info@tinytailors.com.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us via the contact form or newsletter signup (name, email address, and any message you send).
- Delivery and contact details you give at checkout (name, address, email, phone number).
- Giveaway entries: your name, email address, phone number, Instagram and TikTok usernames, and whether you agreed to marketing emails or texts.
- Order and payment information when you check out — payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves.
- Basic website usage data (e.g. pages visited and whether a visit led to an order) via the Google Ads tag, to help us understand how the site is used and how well our ads work.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiries and fulfil orders.
- To run giveaways: to check entries are valid, send your discount code, and contact the winner. Giveaway details are deleted within 3 months of the draw unless you agreed to marketing.
- To send you marketing emails or texts only if you've agreed to receive them — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve our website and product range.
Our lawful bases
- Contract — to process and deliver your order and handle returns.
- Consent — for marketing emails and texts, and for advertising cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to answer enquiries, run giveaways fairly and prevent fraud.
- Legal obligation — to keep order and accounting records.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. Giveaway entries are deleted within 3 months of the draw unless you agreed to marketing. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum data necessary with trusted service providers who help us run the shop: Stripe (payment processing and discount codes), Google (advertising measurement) and our email/hosting providers. We never sell your personal data. Some of these providers (such as Stripe and Google) may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use legally approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw marketing consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@tinytailors.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
